Join us for a day at sea on Zathrian, our beautiful blue speed boat named after Captain Beli’s son (more on Beli below)! Zathrian was custom made to our specifications right here on Ambergris Caye - shoutout to Captain Sharks Boatyard - with the very highest of standards in mind and is the perfect size for small, personalized group tours of up to 6 guests. Our boat features a partial sunroof, padded seats and plenty of under-seat storage to stow your belongings out of the way, making it the perfect vessel for your adventures around Ambergris Caye!
Meet Captain Beli
Berlioz Mauricio Guerrero (Beli for short!) is a proud Belizean and PADI-Certified Master Diver who has been giving dive tours in Belize for 12+ years. Beli’s family goes back generations on Ambergris Caye and he has a deep love of the waters around their beautiful island home. On a mission to share that passion with others, Beli received his Open Water Dive certification at just 14 years old and his Rescue Dive certification and Captain’s license at age 17. By the time he graduated high school, Beli also had his tour license - and he’s been leading adventures around the Belize Barrier Reef ever since! Beli leads all Wave Warrior tours and can’t wait to share his love of La Isla Bonita with you.
Meet Bill
Bill first visited Ambergris Caye in 2004 and was so taken with its clear waters, sandy beaches and small island charm that he purchased a vacation home on the South end and has been frequenting San Pedro with his family ever since. And on one fateful snorkeling trip with his wife, Lorraine, Bill met Beli and the idea for Wave Warrior Tours was born! When he’s not in Belize, Bill resides in the beautiful town of Bloomington, Indiana, where he is President of William Hanna Trucking Inc., a family-owned and operated business serving the area since 1947. If you see him around, don’t hesitate to ask him for local San Pedro (or Bloomington) recommendations!
